Services / Media training + presentation coaching

Media training + presentation coaching. Sound like yourself. Mean what you say.

Practical preparation for interviews, presentations, panels and public appearances. For founders, artists and public figures who want to feel more comfortable and confident when people are watching.

I work with you on what to say and how to say it. We shape the message, rehearse the moment and make specific adjustments until the words feel like yours. Bring the pitch, interview, speech or appearance you need to get ready for.

Confidence comes from knowing what to do next.

You might know your subject and still rush, ramble, freeze or sound unlike yourself when the camera turns on. We identify what is getting in the way and work on it directly, without making you feel foolish for needing practice.

You get specific feedback on pacing, pauses, eye line, posture and delivery, with time to put each adjustment into practice.

Prepare for the room you are walking into.

Media interview training + on-camera coaching

Get comfortable with the lens, the interviewer and your own voice. Rehearse concise answers, natural delivery and how to return to your point when a question takes an unexpected turn. Useful for recorded interviews, filmed introductions and live conversations.

Presentation + pitch preparation

Give the audience a clear thread to follow. Work on your opening, transitions, supporting examples and close. Practice explaining the idea without reading every slide, then rehearse the questions that may come next.

Public speaking + stage presence

For panels, talks, launches and other public appearances. Practice entering the conversation, using a microphone, taking a pause and recovering after a stumble. We work toward presence that feels like you, not a performance of someone else’s confidence.

Speechwriting + script development

I write speeches, presentation scripts and talking points in your voice, or revise a draft you already have. We can work from the initial idea through structure, writing and delivery rehearsal. Speechwriting is available as a standalone assignment or as part of media training.

What we work on together.

  1. Define the audience, format and one thing people should remember.
  2. Shape your talking points, script or full speech in language you would actually use, or review what you have already written.
  3. Rehearse the real scenario, with playback where useful.
  4. Make specific adjustments and repeat, so the notes become something you can do.

You leave with the agreed talking points and practical delivery notes to keep rehearsing.

Media training + presentation questions.

Do you work with people who have stage fright?

Yes. We start with manageable rehearsal and practical techniques for preparing, speaking and recovering when nerves interrupt. The goal is to help you speak with confidence, not promise that you’ll never feel nervous. This is coaching, not treatment for anxiety.

Can we work remotely?

Yes. Virtual preparation is available, and in-person sessions are arranged by agreement. Tell me your location, format and date so we can choose a useful setup.

Will you make me sound scripted?

No. Talking points give you a structure to return to. We practice expressing the same idea naturally, listening to the question and recovering when a sentence does not come out perfectly.

Is this useful for a founder pitch?

Yes, when the need is communicating your story clearly and rehearsing how you deliver it. Financial modelling, fundraising advice and guaranteed investment outcomes are outside this service.

Will you get me press coverage?

No. This is preparation for the appearance, not publicity or media booking. Your publicist, team or organiser handles the booking.

Can you help with the whole launch?

Yes. Launch + Appearance Direction is a separate project for a rollout with multiple creative elements or collaborators. Tell me the scale and timing so I can recommend the right scope.
